Although they look the same from the outside, I wonder if it’s the same on X6’s (E71)? The door panels from the E70 to the E71 are different. This could be too.

I want to replace the sliding doors that cover the cup holders. We're in the process that you just demonstrated would I remove the sliding doors? Just had some car cleaning guys break one of the doors.
Question--the door closest to the gear shift snapped in half (half of it is stuck under the console). What is the best way to fix it? My Indy is saying it's a few hundred dollars you have to replace the unit and the labor. Thanks.

+Ibraim Dauti Same here, dealership wanted to charge me $400. I sent a complaint letter to BMW USA. It's the most annoying thing. The dealership said it was my fault. About 3-4 coins are there and they rattle around. I have a 2015 BMW X5.
I just ordered the cup holder assembly for my 2008, since the draws are broken. I'm sure it's going to be a nightmare to install, but thanks sharing us how to remove and install the trim.

Did you ever find out where to get them? eBay has some carbon fiber "look a like" parts here and there for the gear shifter, but i wasn't able to find the trim around the cup-holder area
