You are the reason i pulled the trigger and just brought a 2014 X6M. I watched your videos and it made me comfortable with the purchase, this suv is super fast bro and i love driving it everyday!!!!
Man I've been looking for an E70 x5m, your content has been great. Everything else I read tells me not to do it. Currently have a e90 335xi and a e70 35d. The X5m could slot in nicely in place of the 335xi, the stories I read have me afraid to pull the trigger.
What kind of stories are scaring you away? It's amazing in my perspective. Yes, expensive to maintain that's why they don't hold value. It's hard to explain that it's an SAV and it handles the way it does 👌
@@E70MGarage Just general reliability, rod bearings, valve seals ect... Not sure what to believe. Most people would have you believe the S63 eats itself at 100k. I'm not afraid of maintenance, I do have a N54 and M57 after all :) as well as a 2 post lift to keep these on the road.
@@BennyBlank I bought it sight unseen and dropped good money on major things that could go wrong and tackled all pain points that were along the way or perhaps easier to do while everything was apart. I haven't had any issues, they don't suffer from rod bearings or valve stem seals issues as much - yeah one off vehicle might have that issue depending on maintenance and how it was driven but generally its a solid motor in my perspective. I did make another video about the very topic, check that out. At the time of buying, it was a no-brainer for me and I've loved the damn thing ever since.
I recently bought a bmw x5m e70 and i just found out that my car is missing a lots of options as such as heated seats steering wheel active seats etc..... I was wondering if it's possible to add these missing features by the my local bmw dealers?
Yes, it is possible, but it's not worth doing through the dealer - the cost will be exorbitant. There are plenty of X5M's being parted out, buy the parts, and swap them (seats, modules, wiring harness, etc.).
@@E70MGarage i tried to find a aftermarket parts for the installment but i didn't find any good results so i thought my last chance is to go the the dealer and let them install it for me
