thanks for the great video. Can I ask after the butyl sheets, did you you add any other material? LIke closed cell foam and MLV? My research is showing that for best sound-proofing results the best solution is 1 layer of butyl, I layer of ccf and 1 layer of MLV. I am doing my own car which is a similar BMW(juss a bit faster) and the reason is excessive road/tyre noise.
@@tcaudiomute Thanks, what is the material of the second layer? I am now thinking of having 4 layers: first layer of butyl, Closed Cell Foam on top, then Thinsulate and then MLV(or skip the MLV as it is heavy). I'm sorry but I don't know what RFT is?
@@tcaudiomute Thanks a lot, I do not have run flat tyres. I have 20 inch wheels that generate a lot of road noise when the tarmac is not good enough, which is most of the time.
4:08 That's amazing!! They warn us not to pull that plug. So when the battery is not connected one can unplug it. What exactly happens if you unplug it when the battery is still connected?
