Exide Xplore XLTZ9 Motorcycle VRLA battery specification and price helped us to find the perfect fit for BMW G 310 GS bike battery replacement. We tried this after opting for Bosch C3 charger to charge our BMW G 310 GS to full capacity. Exide Xplore XLTZ9 will help for bikes with same requirement for battery specifications like BMW G310R and others. This is a DIY - Do it Yourself video. I like DIY videos. Informative. Can you share link to the Bosch product. During installation of new battery connecting negative terminal there was a spark. Was it risky or just a minor spark.

About the spark, we must appreciate you have pretty good vision. 🙂It is an inevitable minor not harmful spark which will result from any metal surface touching battery terminal screws at that state, nothing to worry. We try to do some DIYs esp concerned to bike, it gives a good feeling of taking care and confidence 😇

Brother, why is the battery getting discharged so quickly. Is it alternator issue. Saw one of your videos about alternator damage. Do you often jave to replace batteries on G310GS?

Battery gets charge depleted in extreme cold or if you have not started your bike for a long time, its common in any vehicle! This particular video was not having the battery issue really but the solenoid coil and rectifier got damaged which got clarified in the next alternator video marked as ‘Final Step’. 4 years are about to be completed for our bike and we faced alternator issue 2 times but both due to keeping the bike stagnant at garage for long time and then trying to start without checking the battery health. Check all the 3 videos of this series and all important precautions are communicated in them. Final verdict is we cannot deny the flaws of these model but our experience then says it is not that bad to discourage anyone buying it cz flaws more or less pop up in any premium bikes

@@FirstofWe Thanks. I did watch your videos, though I am not sure I watched them in order. Don’t have much experience with how these things work. I do have a Honda. Due to COVID, I had to move to my hometown for a year. When I got back and started my bike, it started in one go. I do want to go for G310GS, but from what I’ve seen across RU-vid and internet, I’m not getting the confidence on this one. It does look the best and apart from any other bike, commands a premium that’s reflected in its price and service cost. I do feel that BMW didn’t put their hearts into making this a reliable machine. What is also concerning is they frequently recall their bikes for such issues in US and Europe, but us Indians don’t get the same treatment. I would probably wait for some more time and give thought to which one I’m going to pick. I hope all the issues with your bike are resolved and wish you a million miles on your rides. Cheers!

And we feel so deeply pleased on your wish towards our riding life 😊❤️ And we really appreciate your research on bikes and the process you are following to give this a final go, its so required! We cannot deny any of the allegations to this model while again we enjoy when everything is smooth which is been there for a year now without any trouble. And we are covering some true bad stretches with weights around the hills and it serves us great till now! Manufacturing this model in India might have something to do with its frequent issues, might be not! Whatever it is, we are riding passionate people and we need to continue our rides finding solutions to these hiccups.
