Completely different impression to what I got on my test ride……..I had none of those issues, and had great fun chucking it round corners, and caning it down the straights! Gonna be a great second bike along side my long distance bike 😮
looks like i chose a right bike, I used to ride an Yamaha XMAX, and Honda Supra X, now I'm leveling up to bike with a clutch, getting my G310R in 2 days Edit, yup G310R is super beginner friendly bike, I stall it couple of times on my first day, but afterwards, no more stalling.
Its a beginner bike and its relatively cheap for the quality and image. Dont go into it trying to compare it to a 600 class. Its a big grom basically and its great at filling that niche.
That’s exactly why I’m looking at one and I think that’s what people should expect. It’s a strong commuter bike in the city that *can* take you around for the weekend rides but it’s not going to be the most fun bike there.
Review is spot on, I've had the 310R about a year, ready to sell at this point, but fun while I had it, no regrets, it's buzzy at over 75 MPH, reaching top speed bike felt stressed, sweet spoke more like 65 mph. Easy to ride and comfortable, fun little bike. Like others have mentioned, it can easily go into N if you are too light on the pedal but once you get used to it was no issue. I still think it is great for the price for anyone just starting out.
That is the most helpful comment I’ve heard about the Motorcycle. I am yet to being riding and want to purchase this to get to work and liven the ride to and from work but there is a 30 mile stretch that goes 65 miles and was think if it can go to 65 comfortably with out really pushing it.
It’s a 310 so I hate when reviewers complain about it not being inspiring and vibey at 70 mph. All 300 single cylinders are going to be that way. I have the gs so I know the bike. They are great bikes if you check your race driver at the door.
I had one of these from Sept ‘21 to April ‘23, covering exactly 7000 miles. I averaged 79.49mpg and the longest distance between fill ups was 215 miles. I would like to have tried replacing the 16 tooth front sprocket with a 17 tooth one to lengthen the gearing slightly.
why can i not forget the resume about 390RC KTM at the channle 44teeth ? could it be that the "lower cubic" powertrains deliver nearly the same mindbubbles 😉 does it sounds a little bit different to 1/8liter class 😁
My revs take forever to settle from 3k to 1900, I took it to Bowker Motorrad in Preston Lancashire, they were next to useless. They rinsed me for £426 and allegedly gave it a 6000 mile service and replaced some pipes and filters, assuring me this would correct the problem. I returned it the next week still the same and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it, so be warned about BOWKER BMW PRESTON furthur info on request
I was wondering if u had any experience with the kawa z900? Am in the market for one and there are plenty of opinions on the web but very ppl with actual knowledge except maybe micheal mann.
Gear indicators are one of those track things 100% unnecessary for every day road use take you about two days for your brain to remember you should not be staring at a dash relying on a gimmick
Horrible bike. Good review. 43 years ago, we had 47hp from LCs and even today I think a new one out of the box would be better all round than any of these horrible small bikes being released. I don't like any of them. Anyway Thanks Dave for the content. Great results for your guys at the weekend. Franco seems so much more comfortable around you guys so I still see him as your guy.
