Hey how often do you replace the rod bearings or is there a certain brand that stops the issue? I would love to get a e92 m3 but that’s the one thing that scares me off
Replace with ACL bearings or BE bearings. Make sure you're warm before you're getting anywhere close to redline. with aftermarket bearings. you should replace em every 60-70k miles or so iirc
Thinking to buy an S65 engine, tear it down and rebuild it in my garage - then get a mileage, cheap E92 M3 and swap in a freshly built engine. Thoughts 🤔 ?
Anyone know if you can change between multiple maps on the e92 M3s? I can change between 5 maps on my G35 coupe and have grown to like this feature very much, as I calibrated each map to my liking. Wondering if the same can be done on the e92 M3?
