In this video I install the complete carbon fiber and alcantara BMW M Performance Trim. There are 6 total parts to the M Performance carbon fiber and alcantara trim kit. Overall this kit looks great and the alcantara and matte carbon fiber interior trim accents give the BMW F30 a much more premium and sporty look compared to the original glossy Anthracite wood trim. My build is starting to look and feel like it has a stage 2 turbo while still retaining a factory OEM fit and finish from an aesthetics perspective.
My least favorite part of the kit is the M Performance logo stitched into the alcantara of the passenger side dashboard trim panel. That feature alone stopped me from buying this kit sooner, but it's not as bad in person as it looked in the stock photos on the BMW site. I still may attempt to dye the threads black in the future. If I find a good method to do that I'll make another video and show you all the process.
