Dynamic Stability Control has been completely deactivated, with it on the car is a lot more stable; especially the Competition Pack. With it off, you’re more or less on your own and the car does tend to spin out with slight throttle input.

I think it's time for BMW to make its M3/4 with M Xdrive. It's pretty obvious putting the power down through the rear wheels is challenging. At least give the driver the option of AWD stability and traction and 2WD when you want to hoon. The AWD M5 is right up there with it's rivals in terms of acceleration, while the M3/4 trail behind their AWD rivals.
if any idiot mention tries to say that the enhanced sound via speakers is a bad thing, they don't know what they are talking about, its a great idea. also depending how it has been set up, usually you get everything sport+ and your rev counter on the heads up (very useful when you are pushing the car a it) display by just pressing the M1 button twice on the steering wheel (at least thats how mine was set up by the dealer)
Raptor Bass Not in the official settings but you can pull the fuse for the ASD and then its gone. You know what it is.. I'm not making a big problem of because I would just turn off the Active Sound Design if I had a new BMW M car. I hate that fake sound too but I would turn it off so I dont really care about it! What annoys me more is the fact that BMW gets all the hate while RS and AMG do the EXACT same thing now. E63 S has it too and NOBODY talks about it.. 😑so stupid. Wake up fanboys
No, and there does not need to be. Ask any owner and they will tell you that they thought they would hate it yet pretty soon they loved it. You get the best of both worlds, quiet and refined when you are on the motorway cruising and very loud when you are having fun. Many cars these days enhance the sound inside, even the legendary LFA, the best sounding car ever worked with Yamaha to 'enhance' the sound with amplifying ducts run from the engine into the cabin.
M3Conv enhanced sound is not bad! thats not the point.. its bad when the sound is electronic/from the speakers. (Thats not the case with the LFA). The engine/exhaust sound of a car is a beautiful, pure, mechanical thing you know! thats exactly why engine/exhaust sound through the speakers is such a shame. Doesnt matter how real it sounds.. fake sound through the speakers is terrible. Again.. Its not big problem for me because I would simply turn it off. I understand you dont have a problem with it but don't praise it haha. Thats crazy.
Although the Alfa guliea and rs5 are faster in acceleration compared to the m3, but I don’t think those 2 cars are fast around the corners like the BMW’s ,I just saw a video where Bmw defeated the Alfa,
Well Matt didn’t reply- so I’ll give a very short and probably useless answer. The M3 has a 3L Inline-6, pushing 450hp (in competition models), the F90 m5 has a 4.4L V8, pushing 600hp. The m3 is more agile, due to its smaller size, while the m5 is a more practical option, which is also agile, but a decent bit larger and heavier. That was my simple answer, as I have not driven both the cars, so I can’t reflect on personal experience👍
I just don't know why, but I literally hate the way this car sounds. Very rarely do I hate how a car sounds, but I'd rather have the sound of a 4 cylinder 2 liter diesel than this.

AARRextremz 2000 Maybe BMW are not really into supercars? But despite that, they made the BMW i8 and M1 back in 1970's. And Mercedes-Benz 300SL is a sports car, not a supercar. Mercedes CLK GTR is a sports car too. And yes, Mercedes-Benz looks better than the BMW, even the interior of Mercedes looks betters. BMW are kind of rubbish since they "re-use" interior designs.
