Well, the HREs are off the M3 & on the 1M for the giveaway so I need some new forged wheels for the M3. Sean at PSI talked me into trying out Titan 7 Forged wheels. My first impressions they're nice, they get here fast, they lists all the specs in the barrel of the wheel, they have some cool features & cost about the same as 1 HRE wheel. What's nice about these wheels is I won't hate myself if I accidentally damage one.

Black competition wheels + spacers looks the best. But these aren’t bad, just need to go a bit lower, maybe .5” lower.

Matt you should really put a pool floaty on your jack handle to prevent any damage Incase the jack handle ever hits the car.

"People who own Corvettes don't golf. If they do, they're not any good at it." Sums up every single Corvette owner I know - terrible golfers. The wheels look good. I like the gunmetal finish against the blue...a nice happy medium between dark and the original Competition series wheel finish.

Matt: 30% tire height on those wider 275mm front tires is more or less same overall dimensions as the 35% tire height on the other 245mm tires.

Good point. It's .3" shorter than the 255/35. I think that slight difference is what make the difference in appearance.

I like the wheels they look clean. No sense in spending 10k on some hre's when you're going to want to switch back to oem wheels every once in a while. These I think will help fill the void.

Basically doesn't need lowering in the rear, but the front could use quite a bit. The KW HAS Sleeve kit will close up the gap on 275/30s real nicely to match the rear, or even lower if you wanna do that. If you go that route, don't make the mistake I did of just slipping the spring perches onto the shocks. You have to properly press them down with a shop press to get the correct height to the install instruction's specs. Or just send it and get coilovers. But those can get really spendy, especially if you still want the electronic damping stuff.

Looks good. I think I still prefer black cause it makes the brakes stand out more but still a nice clean look.

These look sharp and look better on the car than I thought they would when you originally showed them. Personally I'm the opposite of the guy below and don't much care for original competition wheels and the gun metal color looks just right.

Fitment and height are perfect 👌🏼. You love that suspension just leave it as is. Actually raise the rear up a tad match and call it done

I prefer the comp wheels as well. I think the suspension finally did settle based on the still pics at the end of the video. I also think the Öhlins Road and track may be the perfect set up for you.

Love the car and you always do it right but I prefer the OEM Comp wheels compared to these. Any reason you don't get BBS? Also the not feeling the headlights - looks too aftermarket.

It's because they get their eyes calibrated at the same place you get your wrist/arm calibrated.

always, always, always use a steel floor jack.. over time the aluminum arm will warp/fail horizontally

What no rub with 275?! I’m running FAINTLY on the passenger side wheel well with 255 on that little bump in the passenger wheel well. I wonder if lowering might help?

@@ObsessedGarage Wow thats insane! Let me know if it starts too towards the rear of the passenger wheel well where that bump is. Thats where mine rubs, can only be heard when tires are wet so they only way to monitor is by peaking at that spot on the wheel well. I'm wondering if mine needs heated and pushed back.

@@ObsessedGarage Cool, thank you! I have a 435i coupe and when I go on the website to try and order them it tells me that they wouldn’t fit my car. That only M cars fit these wheels, but I have seen corvettes, type R’s, Tesla’s, and even Supra’s run these wheels, would you know why these wheels wouldn’t fit my car in particular?
