This is a video about using M54B30 Crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons in an M50B25tu Block. M54B30 ZHP Intake camshaft (246 dur) and S50B30US Exhaust camshaft (240 dur). 0.6mm Shaved off the M50 block for 10.8:1 compression ratio. The chain tensioner takes up slack no problem. Use m52 cylinder head and e36 318is valve springs/upper and lower spring plates, they are the same as S52. The torque specs are as follows:
Main bearing caps : 60ft lbs (reuse bolts)
Connecting rod caps: 40ft lbs (reuse bolts)
Camshaft journals: 15nm
Cylinder headbolts M10: 61ft lbs (new only)
