When the BMW M8 GTE broke cover last year, it was celebrated for its innovative design that embraced both the motorsport and road car heritage of BMW, while making a clear statement of modernity. Speaking in an interview, Michael Scully, Head of Design BMW Motorsport, and the man behind the aesthetics of the latest Le Mans challenger, explains how the BMW M8 GTE’s looks came to life.

In only the second race for the M8 Got a well deserved second place! Only five seconds behind the 911 Porsche after a grueling 12 hrs at the Sebring!! Well done BMW in this is just the beginning of many wins to come.

I dunno, the bmw just looks awesome everytime to me. the cars, the bikes. I really love how they manage to make a cool design without overstyling it. the front design, especially that front grill and headlights is really got me. the M series is really a dream car.

Proud owner of a f18 525Li and E92 M3. Really hope that BMW M can restore its former glory on the race track. Seems like after you established yourself decades ago, you just stop paying attention to racing, which is what M is all about. M8 GTE, win the champion for us, for every single M fans out there. Hey men thats a GTE Pro for Endurance racing so they dont have turn signals.This racecar also has a lower top speed than a normal one,but it is faster around a track for many seconds.

Ugh, what a beautiful car. I fell in love when I saw the concept design of the Series 8, but wanted to see what the GT version would look. I want this car to be in GT: Sport as soon as possible if it isn't already.
