Unfortunately(very) BMW doesn't offer the limiter removing(M Drivers Package) for the M850i, you have to remove it via aftermarket tuning.

Like @Autovolution said, BMW doesn't offer any "Remove limiter" options in their car configuration for the new cars. It's only possible with chip tuning when you own the car. Even my BMW 330i G21 touring is limited at 250. Well, the HP is not enough to get 270, but 260 should be possible (even it's slowl increasing)

Ok the limiter is stupid thing on such a car (just another way to milk out money from buyers). But how is noone talking about dude going over 250 km/h on motorbike in the WET?!?! That requires HUUUGE balls.

I've an old blackbird probably worth about 2grand and regularly hits 186mph although he speedos a bit optimistic I'd say, u can buy supercar speed for peanuts with a big bike if u just want speed on da cheap

i own one of those . mine looks bran new. i call it the beast. you can be doing 30 miles an hour in 6 th gear an hit the throttle no need to do shift just hold on. tons of torque.

The BMW has a speed limiter, the Honda not.

@@tjb7284 ok. no limiter on bmw. at the end of the day the blackbird would keep up with the bmw and the blackbird only costs 2k give or take if you spent 1 k more on parts for the blackbird it would walk all over bmw and still be cheaper and do 140mph + wheelies

@@karimmoufid5448 Nope M8 has about 700 crank. Look at some dynos it's pushing 580 WHP when you convert 580 WHP with all the loss from drivetrain it makes about 700 crank

@@MotoMika Oha, da führt einer mittels zweier RU-vid Accounts Selbstgespräche. 😁 Das ist deine Hausstrecke, ich kenn ja deine Videos. Gehört dir der M850i oder bist du mit dem Eigentümer befreundet? Der BMW ist halt abgeregelt, die 1100XX nicht. Unabhängig davon ist die Honda "Quality made in Japan." Nettes Video, weil man dich mal sozusagen "von außen" sieht.

Honda Blackbird was a super bike in her day. She was the bike to beat in her day. 20 yrs later she is still kicking ass!!! Bone stock they ran 180 mph .

260 km/hr(162 mph) limiter and people are complaining that is not fast enough. I would be thrilled to think any car I owned would go but what do I know I am an American.

@@joenduro3235 im not saying the car is faster. Yes the bike is faster. Power too weight ect the bmw 850i is a heavy car 4.4 litre V8 twin turbo with 523 bhp. My point was , at 155 mph limited that engine isn’t even braking a sweat. Not which was faster. Have nice day
