The quality goes in before the name goes on. I've worked on bikes for over 30 years and the only thing I've ever needed to do for a BMW is replace the clutch and crank seal. My only issue with BMW is the cost, but that can't be helped. I had a buddy who road his BMW everywhere. To work, rain or shine, summer or winter, for 10 years. Never saw him drive a car.

Yes, I'm of German decent and I agree . Well done ! I have a 1989 BMW R-100 .I like it very much. I was a machinist,for a living, and respect what these people do. I been riding since 1970's.

I love my 2013 R1200 GSA. Almost 10 years old and never a problem. Last of the oil cooled. No radiator. No wonder wheel. Minimal electronics. Analog gauges. That thing is a work of art. My magic carpet.
