BMW Pelles E30 M50 Turbo 

M50 with 2,8 cranc and about 8:1 comp I think, only standard BMW parts inside, nothing fancy. I estimate power to near 500hp when film was made. Multiple throtles from M3, Precision SC61 turbo, 1,6 bar of boost, VEMS ecu, pump gas, street tyres. Built by owner and me in Piteå, Sweden. The man you see is out rollerskating, and he´s not happy! We are though... =) Done quartermile at 10,53@216kmh on semi-slicks. Accelleration above 200kmh is truly awsome!

what turbo?

NOT E30 do this job,M50 engine does,and it des the same on any other chasis.

how wide is the powerband? and if you lowered your compression, when does the boost kick in? how wide is the RPM band, where you have, lets say, 250+hp?
