Thanks for the video ! Is it a lot louder than stock with the baffle in ? It doesn't seem to be listening through headphones, but I'd prefer to be sure in order to avoid attracting the wrong kind of attention on the road...
Hard to judge from a video isn't it. For the first 2 short trips I rode without the baffle but it was too loud. It seemed obnoxious riding through towns, especially on streets alongside buildings. Now I keep the baffle in and it's a little louder than stock but not too much.
@@nickp3977 Thanks, once again for the video and also for that reply. My nine T is an Euro 5 model and is very tame indeed when it comes to noise, much more than my Euro 4 Nine T Pure. I'm debating whether going for the Unit garage can or the Akrapovic slip-on. I despise obnoxious exhausts just as you do, and these new ride by wire machines have a very high idle on cold starts so a very loud exhaust is very much a no no...
@@TeslasSecret Hi, how did you decide on your Euro5 nine T? I am in the same situation. I don't want to remove the valve. So, I ask myself whether the Unit Garage exhaust will bring the sound closer to the Euro4 model?
@@gstsw Hi ! I sold the bike a few weeks ago, but I ended up buying an Akrapovic end can. It opened up the sound a little, but fell short of the exhaust valve removal in terms of sound level increase. However, having lived with both an Euro 4 Nine T Pure and Euro 5 Classic, nothing will make the euro 5 sound as nice as the Euro 4. Different ECU and cam profiles, it's just not as nice. If I were to buy a Nine T again, it would be an EU4 for that very reason.
@@TeslasSecret Thanks for that fast response. Had an euro4 nine T Pure a couple of years ago as well. And now owning an euro5 nine T classic. There are a couple of upgrades from euro 4 to euro 5 model like better visible headlight, better suspension, ... Therefor, I would not like to change. The only real downgrade is the sound.
