I just picked up a 2022 and they told me they have to unlock the modes at the first service? I haven’t had anyone work on my bikes in over 20 years, and I don’t like being forced to go back to the dealer for something I can easily do myself. Looking to find a way around this.
@@walter6990 I would go into your TFT and see, should be available right away. You just have to deselect one mode to add another, only 4 allowed active at once I believe.
You can get plug ordered through your local dealership it is anywhere between 25 - 60 dollars depends where you can find good one on sale online like calimoto.com all plug does is short the two wires..I have even seen post you can do same paperclip. Hope this helps!
@@otoymoreno299 just search for it. If you are wanting to do it then just get a thin insulated wire and put one end in one hole and the other end in the other hole. Very simple. I would shut the bike down first or follow the procedure to install the BMW plug. I did mine no problem.
@@mobil04 I did it on my r1200gsa.. I don't know about the 900. Check some forums. Probably the same. All the software is built in. Just complete the circuit.
