The sound of an adventure bike with a modified and aftermarket exhaust/ pipe doesn’t sound bad at all, it sounded like an MT-07/ MT series bigbikes.

Non capisci niente, su un banco dyno le valige non hanno influenza, sui rulli sei fermo non hai problemi di aerodinamica, 240kmh anche senza le valige non ci arriva, inoltre avere 19hp in più ma non avere il cervello per usarli nel modo giusto servono a zero

Je suis passé chez eux pour une reprog sur un 1340 b king Suz. Tous ce que j'ai obtenu c'est un passage au banc sans la courbe de couple (gratuit et encore heureux), une belle rayure sur mon écope avant gauche, une bonne balafre sur mon cache échappements arrière, pas loin de de 250km en plus au compteur et 3 semaines de gardiennage... Tous ça pour finir par me dire que n'ayant personne dans leurs circuit qui ait déjà retouché un 1340 king, ils n'ont aucune idée de comment s'y prendre... alors que le site mentionne au cheval près les paramètres liés à leurs modifs. J'ai apprécié la perte de temps... Site BR PERFORMANCE du 91 dans l'Essonne pour ceux que ça intéresse

Something is weird here. BMW makes 136 HP on the engine, not on the wheels. This dyno is "adapted" to estimate engine HP?

Dyno is calibrated to show engine HP, not WHP.

Why nobody tells about the excessive heating at the catalyzer area, on right leg???? With Akrapovic, is even higher....very serious problem on Bmw 1250 gs adventure.....bmw knows, many people complaint....official services says that “they don’know”, but of course they know....even my bike is originally supplied with Akrapovic from bmw house, sound is good (original is already good...), but extreme heat on right leg...very bad....the carbon protection original from akrapovic is doing nothing....the right leg also of the passenger is burning....very bad....very very bad.....

Purchase a HealTech ESE to solve your heat issue. It disables the exhaust valve and won't cause any ECU errors. The valve is there for noise control and to keep your cat hot. It also improves cat preheat for emissions. I also noticed a lot more heat moving from my 1200 to the 1250. Hence I added a slip-on w/o baffle, and disabled the exhaust valve using a plug and play module. It made a huge difference, and I no longer feel any excessive heat.

le estas sacando casi 20cv de potencia adicional a un motor n/a que ya viene bastante apretado de serie, no esperes mas que eso... ellos dicen 136cv pero eso es al crank, a la rueda son 126-128 aproximadamente, estan pasando de 128cv a 142cv, con una curva mas plana y mas torque en bajos, es un aumento bastante bueno

@Citizenthirteen yea, boxer engines sounds like shit. Not much point in changing exhaust. These engines are *NOT built* to sound nice (like the 3s - 4 cylinders).

@@MintChoggy nice opinion there good thing it's just an opinion! 👍 To me it sounds like a sport bike but much more robust thankfully like a nice mixture of an off road & sports bike! Ohh wait it's an off roader and somewhere along in the newer generation line tiny bit of a sport bike kind of too. I mean looking at it taking off not bad for an adventure bike. Matter of fact I guess it's the best selling adventure motorcycle out there leading the market a good bunch of years now for a reason. 🤔 And thankfully that's not an opinion of mine! 😁

can somebody please give me a correct answer about the difference's of this Akrapovic and Akrapovic HP for bmw, there are clear difference's i own the standard Akrapovic and my friend the HP one and the sound is a big difference.

Buddy, I own 4 Gses from a 1986 R80 GS PD to a 2016 R1200 GSA LC and I own them for their longevity (ie reliability) on long tours. Shifting at redline all the time sort of negates that.

@@gilbertdeschamps2324 y'a la ligne complète, quand tu vois que la moins chère des lignes en titane non homologué vaut 1300e car la version homologué tu la touches à 1500e + la reprogrammation 600e sans compter le silencieux....2000e pour un gain de 6 chevaux...ca revient cher le cheval supplémentaire

Morgan Lou je ne vois pas le passage de la moto d’origine au banc? J’ai l’impression qu’ils comparent aux données constructeur. Les autres passages au banc de 1250 BM donnent des valeurs bien inférieures, comme toutes les motos d’ailleurs

It is made because BMW are a lot smarter than you Len, and have made more money from GS's than any other bike ever produced anywhere. One day, if you save your pennies though even you may be able to afford to purchase one, and that will make it obvious to you why so many people have purchased them.
