Before I retired I used to sell to some factories that made instrument clusters. I was not allowed near the machines unlit I had fitted a wrist earthing strap to prevent a static discharge as research had found that whilst a discharge did not cause an immediate failure it could shorten their life. Now a always wear a strap if I’m working on electronic bits.
Hi i have a question about changing over the dials, recently changed my R53 to the two dials and they default to MILES and i need them in KM's..can you tell me how to change?
Sorry I’m not sure what you would need to do there but if it was me I would think it would be best to go to a main dealer and ask about programming it in.
I’m still undecided on the interior colours at the moment. I’ve just been sent red door cards and rear trim so I might go for red rings to match once they are in.
