In this clip I remove both tires - Front and back and replace the tires with some new rubber. It is not a difficult process and anyone can do this at home.
Hey, good to see way to lift front like that! Thanks. I got some Questions though: 1. Your bike is 2014-2015 or newer? 2. Those rims (spoke), are they tube or tubeless? I want to buy some tires but not sure if tube or tubeless. Thanks!
hey Pete - not sure if you're still wondering but I just picked up a 2021 r9t, and for your #2 above, the factory tires I got (Michelin road 5) says "radial tubeless" on the sidewall so I'm guessing these tubeless tires can be fitted with tubes inside. I'm looking to do a seal on these spokes so I can fit tubeless on them without worries. hope this helps
Hey there! Congrats! 2021 is tubeless 100% has spokes attached to the outside of rim not to the center 🙂 I finally bought those tubeless Michelin R5 and to my huge surprise the factory’s Metzler are tubeless as well, but factory installed them with tubes :O So, I did the same tubes inside tubeless tires - 2015 has spokes attached in the center of rim, so they are not hermetic.
