It was so stupid as I didn’t realize that the race was over and just wanted to defend my 8th place 🤣 But luckily nothing happened, not easy being one of the very few street bikes and starting last on grid

@@Mancs1000r thanks it was ok, done better, little rusty after 6month of winter, but it’s also an very easy bike to ride, so more credits to the bike 😂

@@ZohardRacing yeah I agree, it’s a great bike, I got one a couple of months ago and started a channel myself 😉 I’m not confident enough to bring it on a track yet but I’m sure I will in time

Ive used the LC a lots of times but Im ending up most times doing more wheelie and worse starts 😁 I know that when in LC it reduces torque a lot, but you really need to very gentle with the clutch not either to stall or get wheelies from my experience, but when you hit it correctly holy cow some crazy launches 🚀

It’s mounted on top of the carbon tank cover, with a sticky mount sits very firm and good protected also by the OEM sport screen, only forgot to put my wind noise foam on 🙄

Yea I have DDC, I find it very good, as I also use it on the street, had it been a track bike I would not have chosen it, and also not being able to fiddle with it the same way as the RR was a bit disappointing, but found a good overall setting 😁

@@ZohardRacing thanks for the reply mate 🙏🏻 do you find the front end dives a bit under braking? So the new single R doesn’t have the tuneable profiles in the menu? That’s disappointing 😔 I have a 2019 R and I find the suspension the only flaw with the bike. Was considering upgrading.

@@Invis_Space yes it dives a bit, but not to much.. I’ve set it up in dynamic mode and 2 pillion also set preload to max in the front and 5mm lift in the rear and it works well for me and I’m around 70kg If your a heavier rider I could see this as a problem and maybe a set of new springs would be a fix, but it could start to be an issue, an DDC suspension from the RR could be an solution also, but I’m considering going Öhlins for the future iff I’ll keep using it on track

@@ZohardRacing I’m around 75kg. Wow preload all the way in 😮 I have been experimenting with mine recently, got everything pretty much dialled in perfectly but I’m finding the initial bite on braking while riding hard pretty extreme. It’ll just suddenly dive. Sorry to keep asking you questions mate. Did you manage to get your sag set to the bmw criteria? I’ve been thinking about RR suspension or Ohlins too. I was really just hoping upgrading the bike would save time and hassle. Plus I could get that sweet paint job you have 🥲 I really wish they just gave the option of having the RR suspension as a factory upgrade. I’d buy it!

42 is not bad at all, and thanks 🙏🏼 Sounds nice with racing school, that you can look forward to, the races is just nice, you always give a bit more if you are competitive person, always set my best laps in the races and now I’ve moved op one class 😄 still very amateur but who cares as long as we have fun 🤩 Using the Dunlop SportSmart mk 3, fantastic tires tbo Was always using Rosso Corsa 2 and S22 before

Yes its correct unfortunately 😂 I was moved up one class and was the last in the race (slowest) in the group and started 46 on the grid and ended up at a 9th place
