Oh dear, the worst thing you can do for a brand new engine is take it to the highway for a long constant drive. I hope you went to do some dynamic driving too ;)
I did indeed also some dynamic driving. As I already mentioned, this is not my own bike. It is a testbike by BMW. The do their own breaking in, after that you can get it as customer for testing. They did not mention me, that the first service was not done, therefore the bike was still limited.
