Tupac Shakur was killed in Las Vegas nearly 30 years ago while riding in the passenger seat of a 1996 BMW. That car was circulated for years before people realized its significance. Now, its for sale.
Those fatal bullets killed one person, but mentally and emotionally it killed millions. After 27 years it is safe to say that we won't see another one like him in many generations to come. Rest in Power 2Pac.
originally it was not restored. It was held at a police impound for years where it really fell into disarray. Since the passenger window was destroyed in the shooting, as well as the windshield damaged, the interior was exposed to the elements and had taken a beating. Eventually it was auctioned off, where the new owner cleaned it up, and got it running again. It was detailed, original wheels (stockers) put back on, and it was later sold (in the early 2000's) at auction. Complete with bullet holes, and the extra set of damaged wheels. Basically in as close to post shooting condition as possible. Just restored enough to preserve it and make it transportable. Then around 2008 or so, it re-emerged completely restored back to the condition it was in prior to the shooting. The windshield was replaced, the passenger seat was replaced (originally, the seat was removed by LVPD and the vehicle was sold without it. So somewhere in LVPD's evidence vault lies the seat 2Pac was shot in and probably bled on), and replica wheels fabricated to return it to its original pre shooting condition.
🐂💩💥🔫😎 WRONG. We picked the car up from the Vegas PD evidence yard a week after Pac died. They didn't find the stash box which had 2 guns in it. The car was cleaned and detailed and then sat at Suge's auto body shop until Suge was sent back to prison and the car was repossessed by the leasing company.
My girlfriend and I (both 23) walked into this showroom to see this bmw in person in Vegas. The owner knew we had no intention to buy the beautiful pieces and just wanted to see it & he couldn’t have been nicer to us. Spent a good amount of time showing us some cool stuff he has & talked about cars for a bit. If I have the means in the future I’d love to buy a car from here based on how nice they treated us
THE CAR SHOULD EASILY BE IN: 1) TREACH'S POSSESSION 2) KENDRICK LAMAR'S POSSESSION 3) UNIVERSAL HIP-HOP MUSEUM 4) SNOOP DOGG'S POSSESSION(SINCE HE NOW OWNS DEATH ROW RECORDS)
It might end up there in the long run, or someone the equivalent. But Treach wouldn't want something like that it was his friend, it would be tacky to say the least
snoop was literally the last argument pac had with someone besides the ak incident before he left with one of the outlawz. pac didnt like snoop at all and felt betrayed. also he was mad at treach as well at the end over some gang shit that pac had to smooth out because of him.
Imagine buying a car not because it's a car that Tupac & Suge drove in, but because Tupac was shot in it & later died. Crazy minds out there in this world
I'm surprised no one has snapped that up,, I have been a lover of pacs movies and music since around 92 and if I was lumped up with bread I would buy it in a heartbeat
@@allenh7835 yeah unfortunately… he lost a finger and a lung. Even if he would have completed survived. He would have been a crippled for the rest of his life
There is no permanent memorial for Tupac where he was gunned down. That makes me sad 😢 We went to Vegas in 2021 on our way to Hurricane, Utah. We went off the strip to: Koval and Flamingo it is just an intersection, not much different than any other intersection in Vegas. Less than 1/4 mile from The Strip. There are two convenience stores and two parking lots on the 4 corners. Thousands of people a day walk the area and 10's of thousands of cars drive through it without knowing or caring ths is where he was shot. He was stopped in front of what was then the Maxim hotel when he was shot, now it's the Westin Causarina. There are numerous homeless people, very unsafe area... even though it is that close to the Las Vegas strip.😢 There should be a memorial!
Reggie Wright Jr explains in an interview how to open the stash compartment. ‘Push on breaks, put car into park or neutral, then put into cruise control which no longer works’
That’s a BMW 750 LI those cars are not worth much anymore. I mean I know that 2pac was shot in it but like still like I feel like for that price is not worth it don’t get me wrong. I’ve seen the movie and shit but I mean for what the car is now it’s not worth it.
@@xoxxxooxxthat is a V12 E38. Thing in good condition, low miles is easily a 20k car or more. Definitely not 1.75 mill but it’s worth something considering how old it is.
My personal opinion, because the vehicle was not only restored but also driven around after the shooting, it should not be worth what they are trying to sell it for.
I went down years ago no one was there but one older guy looking at cars & one salesman he said there's no interest in the car other then people coming to look at it 🤷♂️
I agree with most comments, the price or value would've been higher, had it been in it's original condition. Removing the tint, changing multiple ownership titles.
Tupac wasnt killed in a bmw,he died in a hospital.he was shot in that bmw and still alive after the shooting until he succumbed to his injuries in a hospital bed
People like to put prices stuff about Tupac Shakur as much as I respect Tupac I really think it's all really a joke I mean 10 million or 1.7 million is a bit extreme these days speaking of extreme my manager and me tok and test drive a Bentley 2005 now that's an experienced (Life Goes on)
@@cryptolord9826 It was Pac's own fault. He specifically said he didn't want to bring is Vest with him. Then goes to start a fight. As smart as Pac was, that was probably the dumbest shit a human in his line of work could do. And it proved true.
@@almightytre3730 it’s NEVER too hot for a vest. If you’re actually in that life. Can’t be out here complaining about the weather. Either stay inside, or wear the vest when out. That just adds to my previous statement of how stupid Pac was for not wanting to wear it, AND starting a fight with Baby Lane. and again, knowing you started a fight, and STILL going out right after. He was just asking for it over and over again that night.
Whoever came up with the idea to restore the car and cover up the history should have to pay the asking price for the car then get beat in the face with a phone book
it's totally overpriced . It would've worth that much if it was in the original condition, same wheels, bullet holes and all. They are trying to sell it for a long time now and i am not surprised nobody is buying it. The only thing that car has compared to other BMWs of the same kind is that TUPAC sat in that car at least one time. Unfortanately after Tupac, a whole lot of other people having using those seats so it's nothing but a thought , buying that car all you have is a THOUGHT that Tupac sat in it . Nothing else. No holes, no signature, absolutely nothing. Just taking the word of some guy and that's the actual car . Way too expensive for that. More like 200k would be more appropriate . It's an old BMW that Tupac used . Even Elvis's plane sold for less
Them fixing this car was the dumbest shit in the world they could’ve ever did. They literally took the value from it by fixing it. Nobody is buying that shit now..
He didn't died in the car he died in the hospital it may sound taboo but people just love there stars they will buy his jewelry and clothes for memory.
The fact that this is a real thing is disgusting. Tupac is gone but aint even got to rest and seeing this shows how crazy and untasteful so many in the world are
This just goes to show you how the cops are not trying to properly investigate the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur due to the simple fact that this was the (BMW) that Tupac Shakur was in the night he was shot on 09/07/1996, so obviously, this is one of the biggest pieces of evidence next to the suspect, and the firearm that should be locked up in the Las Vegas metropolitan Police Department impound until this murder is finally solved, but this murder will never be solved due to the simple fact that dirty rouge Police officers connected with the (FBI) and the (CIA) help assassinate Tupac Shakur under the United States government Cointel program!
@@solomonallen3524 It’s the most precious thing you’ve ever read because you’re one of the most uneducated individuals here on RU-vid. Instead, you write an uneducated rhetorical comment. Why don’t you hop off of RU-vid and progress your education the simple fact that you can’t do that is because you never graduated high school in obtained a certificate of graduation LMFAO!…🤓
It's selling for cheap because Tupac was only valued by minorities. To the rest of the world he was insignificant. No one cares about a deceased rapper lol.
Like chris carroll said, they should have never restored it. Not only have they ruined the significance of it, but it just isnt as historic now. All so someone can make $ selling it 🤬🤬🤬
Did anyone ever confirm why the wheels were different on the BMW that Tupac was last photographed in and the BMW at the scene that was riddled with lead?
