X1 is clearly a winner... engine is the best....even normal milege u get is 15. In x1..u are getting paddle shift....All good..performance is excellent...merc dosent stand any near..but bit expensive....only one con.. service wise....break pads are bit expensive
Fantastic review, rational verdict. Mercedes has messed up the pricing and engine spec of the GLA petrol. It has handed the playground to the X1 on a platter.
I drove the BMW X1 also and the Mercedes Gla also but BMW X1 is better than Gla in terms of griping, power and performance but in comfort anytime Gla is better
German cars are known for their performance i have experienced polo 1 litre mpi i was amazed because the power claimed by company is 75 bhp but it is way ahead it performs like turbo engine

i think u should check kushaq 1 litre turbo in terms of power it is way ahead then both u will get value for money car with same price & gud driving dynamics but if u need automatic then u can select Nissan turbo because u get cvt in thus price range no one is providing that even hyundai dct is very costly than Nissan turbo

As a 2020 X1 owner, I can say everything that Rachit said about the X1 is true. I love my car and it’s so great to drive. I wish X1 had GLAs interiors but that’s just BMW in general. You don’t buy a BM for the interiors. Merc will always beat BM when it comes to luxury. It’s what’s under the hood that makes a BMW. Also, in my opinion X1 still looks better and gives more big car feels than GLA that sill looks like a hatchback. And paying 6L more is also tricky. X1 Still the car to beat and I think the new Q3 will beat it, not the GLA.
