Thanks for the video. I ordered mine a few weeks ago and while I’m waiting, I watch some videos about it on RU-vid. But there isn’t many videos about the 25e, so thanks again.
A decent review of the X1 hybrid, especially as English is not your first language. Well done, a good practical review. Thanks from the UK. You deserve more views and likes! 👍
Hi Steve, thank you so much for very nice comment! this keep me doing what I do for people. When I started I assumed that will be disaster for me trying to record video in English, but I do practice and hopefully next ones will be a least slightly better. This is real world test so I believe I will save some time and effort (which means money ;p) for many people doing this stuff. Have a nice weekend - cheers :)
Hi Yossi, thanks for comment. Actually is not noisy, I have received very good score in my testing. You can find the video on my YT channel with this particular test: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4Se6Ysnovqc.html or full review of this particular vehicle under this link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UlsIkbD_Scs.html Have a good watching and take care :)
Like you said, it’s a shame that adaptive cruise control doesn’t come standard. My company is leasing one for me, but to keep it under budget you really lose a lot - no heated seats, standard paint, no adaptive cruise control, even apple car play is extra. I had to push for a reversing camera, which should be standard on a BMW if it’s standard on VW or a Honda. 🤦🏻♂️
Hi Y3MINEM, thank you for comment, my biggest complain is lack of option for digital driver display which is becoming standard for all other vehicles this class. I must admit that in Norway these vehicles are slightly better equipped. Well, this is BMW cheapest SUV so I guess they want to make it looks like really cheap one so the others X2, X3 looks way better for the price you pay. I don't know, I'm just gassing. Have a nice day - cheers :)
Hi Filip, yes and yes, electric motor is powering the rear wheel axle, the 4 wheel drive we have only when battery is powering the motor. I have had this system in my previous BMW 225 xe iPerformance. thank you for comment and have a nice weekend - cheers :)
Plug-In Hybrid doesn't have paddle shift, this is only available for Sport package combustion engines. The other one I was showing in the video was 20d. cheers :)
Great, practical review! Could you tell me how this vehicle behaves after 140km/h when there is no electric support? Is it acceptable on highways or definitely "no"? hows the fuel consumption ~140km/h and above? I understand this car is exceptional for city and roads, just wondering.. or should I look more for 330e.
Thank for comment Artur. I cannot tell because in Norway maximum speed limit is 110km/h unfortunately. I would say 3 series should be way better on the highway, hybrids should be cheaper to run in town. Have a nice day :)
