As Always BMW diesel engines are more reliable and solid than petrol ones. Love your content brother wish you the best.

Thank you. It's true, after 180.000 km the petrol engines start to have problems but diesel ones only after 250.000 km.

@@WarpDriveM believe it or not We own 2 E91’s BMW my car has now 296.000km with N47 and my wife 318.000km M47 both automatic we have them for 6 years now we round all Europe until now when I replace something i see it’s OEM factory parts. The secret is oil change every 10.000km and warming the car good in winter before moving. Good luck my friend regards from France.

Great video man. Have the same problem, thought it is EGR one as temperature is below 70, but discovered that there is no one. :) Now I am curious how EGR cooling is controlled? With that vacuum valve? Might be that stuck and water flowing constantly trough it? As my engine is only 62k KM so not sure if thermostat is bananas or something else could cause problem. Maybe something that is easier to check first before replacing thermostat? Cheers

You can check it with a scanner, and yes the EGR is vacuum controlled. With a diagnostic tool you can check the Thermostat and the EGR valve, most likely the Thermostat is bad
