An important model for BMW on a global scale, the fact that the modern X3 SUV is currently assembled in South Africa for export means it's an especially significant vehicle for our market, too.
I recently introduced Kate to the new BMW X3 xDrive20d, the most popular X3 derivative sold in South Africa.

Need to add comfort seat for thigh extenders. Thanks for review. Agree X3 feels immensely solid. Personally I’d spend that kind of money on NX 350 H if for the long term

Thanks for this informative review, which is also great for us relative to a SA market. I think the X3 is amazing, I just felt that the 2.0d engine, although good torque just didn’t do enough for me in terms of power, especially coming from a 2.0T. Also could be the fact that it just feels so refined on the road. That being said it’s the only con, in otherwise a well designed and featured car. I think the 3.0d gives you that extra bit of punch, if you looking for an inbetweener, from this to the M40i.

You’ve got information but the whole video i just saw you guys and not the car, no exterior shots, boot, dash and infotainment system walk through, sunroof opening shots?

Need advice i am looking a x3 xdrive20d 2016 model with 27k km on it, Will it be a good purchase?

Hi, a 2016 model will be out of both its original warranty and service/maintenance plans, so it may be worth looking into either extending, or purchasing a new plan. Otherwise, this a very good product - including build quality, efficiency and overall comfort. I actually know of a showroom condition 2019 sDrive18d (front-wheel drive) with less than 15 000 km on the clock, of you're interested. It's in Cape Town
