Rick the BMW looks amazing and he is going to love the self cleaning attributes of this coating. This coating is different than any other coating I have installed as the paint feels butter soft even after a month of driving without a wash. You can drive through a rain storm and the car looks dry and clean after you drive through and only the rear will show any signs of being dirty. As always your production was first class and I will be looking forward to update videos on this car. Thank you for the great video.
@@RADGarage Sounds awesome! Will have to attempt to use it at some point. Ease of use looks so nice. I actually put Gyeon MOHS on my current daily driver about a year ago, so will probably try this after that wears out.
Hi Rick, as always I look forward to your videos, my friend, it's always a pleasure to see your projects, quality work, video, music always 110% 🇵🇹👏👏👏👍
Another amazing video, Rick! It's fun watching you use different products in each video. This helps me when choosing new products to try myself for my ride. Enjoy your summer holiday!
I leave the critical reviews up to others since trying products is what motivates me. I rarely encounter products that fail to satisfy, and showing them in cinematic action is my primary goal.
Great job Rick this is a baetiful shocase of the car just like the amazing shocase of words worth knowing in your classroom the word wither will come out to perfect is what I think
Another awesome job Rick 5 stars results. Sorry to hear about the water issues you are having people forget how important water really is until it’s gone. Thanks for the great video👍🏻
Thanks for sharing, Rick, much appreciated. I've a soft spot for X5's, one of my favorite SUV's, and the final results on this one look spectacular! Great work, both in front of and behind the camera, appreciate all the time and effort that goes into producing your videos! I was in your fair city last week, and heard about the water main break; hope the restrictions don't last too long, and hope they don't affect your detailing schedule, I wouldn't want any Rad Garage videos delayed as a result! Hope the C6 products perform well, if you are able to provide a long-term update or two, I for one would greatly appreciate any information you are able to provide. Thanks again for sharing, and have a great day!
Now that was RAD, would have been better with reverse foam …. Great job on the video great work …. Let’s get the band back together and do some livestreams!!
No washes this weekend, that’s for sure. Might have to try a rinseless. I can’t see that making for a very satisfying video but maybe I’ll challenge myself.
I have to agree with you. It looked so much better than it when it arrived. I just wish the before/after was more dramatic on camera. White is a tricky colour to catch on camera.
Was looking forward to this video and it didn't disappoint! The palm sander is such a great idea. You convinced me to get one just for the waxing process. Save my arm lol. Great video!
Cool i have that same sander by Black and Decker, i think i will try my hand at polishing my car with Stjarnagloss Skara and The Rag company said to use a Lake country orange pad, so i will give it a go! Beautiful car, Rick!
I’m curious how that goes for you. This is not a tool I would strongly recommend for serious polishing. It was more of a way to quickly and properly apply the APP.
@@RADGarage I know, i've never machine polished my car before, and it is the only thing i own that comes close to a polisher, i'm doing it to spiff up some scratches, my car is 15 like i said, i know she will never be perfect and that is fine.I'll let you know how i do. ha ha
Hi Rick, congratulations for the video, is this Ceramico new? I really like the mirror effect and that it lasts over time, tomorrow will be my birthday and this weekend there are big parties. Hi Rick, take care....👍✌🍁😉
@@RADGarage Hi Rick, I thank you so much and it makes me very happy....🍾🥂THANK YOU, 41 YEARS OLD and also our Golden Retriever dog "TILLO" is 7....Have a good continuation....to YOU and YOUR FAMILY HELLOOOOO🍁👍✌😉🤙
Hey Rick fantastic video! Any C6 application video has been an instant watch for me recently. Such cool stuff Yvan has been bringing to the market. I have the Hydro Lite & APP as well but I am still in the market for a palm sander. I am also in Canada and have been looking at the Black & Decker as an option. How did you like it?
@@RADGarage Never disappointed. I love how you are always enthusiastic about trying new and different products and methods. One of the reasons why I enjoy your channel so much.
Great video! Is it easier to apply than Gyeon Mohs? I am not sure C6 has hit the UK yet, but I need to re-coat my daily this summer, so I might give it a go.
Yes, it is easier to apply than MOHS. Not that MOHS is at all tricky, but the Hydro Lite goes on like an absolute dream. If you check my Linktree link, I have a link to DIY Detailing and they ship to the UK, IIRC. tr.ee/BO4XoHObIS
It’s about the application of the Adhesion Polish promoter. It is supposed to be machine-applied but by a short throw. I think Yvan has a video explaining it somewhere. Here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7LQzPtk33LU.htmlsi=VHGyhmbdgDB4hvAo
Two years. I could have worked at restoring/unclogging it but in my experience, there are places where the return of hydrophobic properties just won’t return. This city is brutal 8-9 months a year. It’ll be interesting to see how C6 stacks up.
I have always enjoyed MOHS. The C6 stuff is definitely on the pricey side. I am happy to apply it on a car, but I don't think I would be happy to fork out the beans for it.
8:17 could tell me more or direct to some of your video - why this random orbitar sander? is it safe? Yesterday I was aplying 3D Poxy with 21" i think this kinda a small DA would be perfect for me as your next time :D
Why we use the short throw machine to apply the APP ''Adhesion Promoter Polish’’ C6 Ceramics ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7LQzPtk33LU.html
The C6 APP is best spread using a very low throw DA such as a palm sander. I’m not sure what the scientific reasoning is, but as a teacher, I tend to follow all rules! I think it worked out well and I’m glad I was able to find such a sander at a really good price. I think I paid $45.
Great job Rick this is a baetiful shocase of the car just like the amazing shocase of words worth knowing in your classroom the word wither will come out to perfect is what I think
Enjoying your videos as allways! Good inspiration before this summers projects. CSL + Exov5 on a Volvo V90 T8 2019 and Porsche Cayenne 2022. I could feel what you felt Rick, detailing is special, and your videos, yeah... Thank you🙏🤜
Hi Rick🖐 Great start to a summer full of more Rad videos. With school out more time for you to create very interesting content. I have a question, how do you know when polishing that you have removed all of the old ceramic coating? I haven’t had to do that yet to one of my vehicles and I am curious to find out what you see or feel when you have first reached the original paint. How important is it to make sure all of the old stuff is removed so that the new ceramic coating will bond properly? Cheers!!.. 😎
That is the million dollar question my friend. Because the paint on this X5 had some very minor swirls to correct, I just assumed that by eliminating the swirls in the paint, I MUST have penetrated the layer of residual coating. So, I just ensured I had fully corrected every square inch of the exterior and went off the theory that the coating must have been removed for me to make my way to the clear coat. I hope that makes sense. If there were no swirls to correct, I think I would just go at it and trust my gut that I had removed the coating. If you don't get that micro layer of coating off, I think it would impede the new coating's ability to bond with the paint so it is an important question.
