I used to be a windscreen fitter / automotive glazier. Worked on a z1 in about 2001. Never seen another one since. The doors are crazy. That particular car also had camo print leather seats. Weird.

Dudes-- the Z1 windows work like most BMWs have for decades... put the key in the door and turn left and hold it. The windows will roll up automatically. Also, the steering wheel is not an E30 part, it's unique to the Z1.

I love that car. I imagine those doors on a modern car that would be awesome. What a crazy idea but that was car companies back in the day. They loved just coming up with random things and sticking them on cars. I wish modern car design had this sort of designing style. Another good video, look forward to the next 👍

Came to see what Alex and the guys are up to these days, but yeh they're obviously gone. Not the same without them. They were car throttle, it's like top gear without Clarkson, May and Hammond.

Thing is, you destroyed the credibility of this channel so what is the purpose of watching this if we cannot bond with the presenters? Chances are they may come and go as the management, who clearly has no clue, wishes. Acting as if nothing happened, not even introducing the new presenters is clearly a very stubborn decision that must have been forced by someone whith enough authority and the certainty that they know better. Let that someone present it then, they must be unfirable enough for us to form a bond with them!

Yes it is. I have a Schabak model of one. It's lime yellow. The doors actually go up and down also.never seen one on the road in Australia.

It's not the presenters that are bad they're great it's the company that's shit. They used to be fantastic but then they were bought by the people who own it now. It's their own fault It's gone down hill maybe don't fucking cut costs and give your employees zero budget
