If someone could somehow combine a z3 and z4 using the front half of the z3 and the back half of the z4, it would be one of the most beautiful roadsters of all time. As they are, the Z3's butt looks awkward and the Z4 is a butterface.

(Sal here) I couldn't agree more! in my opinion the BMW Z8 is the perfect looking roadster. too bad the sell for $150,000 haha

I like the z3 post 2000 rear end, that wide body rear to me is sexy af and the z4 lightings on rear are a nono IMO

If you love your Z3 roadster the Z3m roadster is a whole new world, just so much power in that little car, when the channel goes big, go buy yourselves one of those, you won't regret it!

Z3 is the much MUCH more handsome car....and lighter. The Z4 has better motors... and thats it.

We have a Z3 and a Z4 3.0 SI. I like the fact that the Z3 is much lighter, however my Z4 has a lot more power and I feel like they just got all of the Kinks out of it with the Z4. The z4 tends to handle a little bit better than the Z3 although they both handle quite well.

Which one would you say is more reliable?

Hi Ryan, (Sal here the z4 owner) both cars are both very reliable as far as BMW's go. Both feature the bulletproof M54 engine. The biggest problem I would look out for in a Z3 is sub-frame failure. And the biggest problem I would look out for in the Z4 is the water pump and expansion tank. The coolant systems in both cars are temperamental so make sure the expansion tank has been replaced. And also pull out the DISA valve and have it rebuilt if it is going bad. and If you find a Z3 or Z4 with a working convertible top congratulations to you! thanks for watching!!

@@yerpster bought one at 100k it's great no issues except 1 electric fan thermometer was broken, $50 fix napa, prolly cheaper rock auto 10 minutes done
