This was really helpful man, been looking at it because my young fellow is getting into it, tired of walking to the skate park and watching him have all the fun 🤣
It took me 7 years to realise I needed a longer frame, because I'm 5'5....but my arms are freakishly long, like think of "upgrade" from Ben 10 that'll give you an idea 😂
I used your video to help me figure out which kind of bike I’m gonna get! Thanks a lot your content is top tier & I been loving the channel’s Re-vamp it’s sick 🤙🏽😎
Hey! We've both been doing RC videos too. Cool. I bought a used Kink Gap xl only rode for 5mins from an older rider looking to get back into it. Saved $200. I'll be riding mostly dirt but want to try some flatland too. I wanted to do flatland since I was a kid.
I'd almost say go for a cheap walmart bike. Ride the everloving hell out of it. Just like... ride it like it's a rented mule. use that to find out if you want to actually get in the hobby. I would consider that a sort of last resort sort of thing though. I'm with Miguel here. Check craigslist or marketplace first. Even something used, so long as it isn't all siezed up and has been taken care of, will give you a better experiance than a chineesium walmart bike. And i say this as someone who's got a walmart bike that I actually enjoy.
@@MiguelCortez I mean not everyone is going to be near a local bike shop (I'm an hour away from the three nearest ones and it only gets worse from there.) So like... connect through facebook. Connect through reddit or discord. Try forming that local community of riders if you can.
Used bikes are sometimes a good deal i bought mine for 150 dollars it was premium full crmo with second frame and wheel. You just need to do some research about the parts maybe ask someone on your local skatepark if they have bikes to sell. I think that complete bikes are overpriced often and that's why i recommend buying used bike
What bmx bike would u recommend for someone who has experience riding flat ground but hasnt rode in a few years due to finance complications, is 5'11, 120 lbs, performs best on street and flat ground, and wants to have a sick setup?
I still ride vert , half pipes mega ramps and the like , stills ride every day my 2003 black pro team condor all aftermarket parts right down to the nuts and axles , Alex triple wall rims, comes in at 42 lbs
I Dont know why they only show bike parkour on this video as if it was the only use for a Bmx BIKE... I Personally want a bmx because i like the height of the front handle close to my arm length and im not crunching down over it and getting a hunchback. im not going to use it to jump on the roof of my house, i just want it for fun
I’m 14 and recently started getting into riding but I’m still extremely sketched out about buying a bike due to the lack of income I have (of course this is due to my age and COVID) so I was wondering if you could recommend a bike I can buy online for roughly 250 I am going with buying online because I have no local shops with bmx bikes besides Walmart and I already know that’s not a good choice. Also like I said I’m new so I’m sure I’ll be comfortable with whatever you bring up I’m like 5’3 or 5’4.
So how do i know if used bmx bike has good parts . I mean some people they repaint their bikes or bikes are all rusty and sell them for 100-250$. In comments they say its Wethepeople frame , and so on.
I am 5.11 and I found a mongoose for great price but it's the smaller line and it's for up to 5.8 should I buy it?(I am still getting height not an adult)
@@MiguelCortez dang bro i cant do bmx because all of them are too expensive and my price range is only 200, and I hear that $200 ones are super low end :(
Is a Elite BMX Stealth BMX Bike from city grounds good for me I’m 5’4 and 13 I’m looking for a light bike I can ride in all terrain mainly pavement tho
So I bought a lightly used haro f2 from a homie for 50 bucks is that good? I just want it to go to and from the store or homies house can I make it faster? Since I don't want to buy a different bike or anything
