I'm playing on getting into BMX...My first question is how do I catch air. Simply thats all I really wanna do is ramp off one of the pipes and get some air. Is a bunny hop involve, if not, is it just as simple as getting enough speed to launch off the pipes?

+Khoa Van To get air like them it takes commitment, skill, and a good ramp. On smaller ramps you have to bunny hop, on about a 7'-8' ramp you do like a manual motion without actually manualing, your back tire pops off the coping which gives you air. Personally I have really aired anything bigger so I don't know how to air a 12, but the bigger it is the less effort you put in.

jack thebmxer get an FBM custom. best frame i ever had, custom made. Marados TVv you know you cant say "i have that bmx" right? bmx is the sport, not a specific model of bike. jussayin.

jack thebmxer Don't listen to these people, get what you want. There is no best brand you really just want to look for what's in your budget and what bike will fit you best.
