Have it set to auto but still on past programed time. I've tried resetting and turning on and off but still on. This is not a good timer. Whats the point of 8 programmable settings if it's for all 4 outlets.
Have mine set correctly, yet still have to manually turn it on and off. Set to turn on @6am and off @ 6pm , 7 days a week for my beardie. Auto is set and random is off. 🤷♂️🤬
Finally figured this out. Just reset before programming. Random selection will totally make u pull your hair out. Easy peasy after that. Set date for all days of the week and I just use program 1. Works great…finally!
I reached out to the company as I have the same issue...the switched side light is not illuminated like the always on side...mine is defective for sure
Dumbest UI of any device I have ever used and WHY in the hell would you guys think putting in a randomization program would be a good idea who is that even for stupid product.
FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE ISSUE!!!! There must be a fail safe within these plugs on the switched side. If you do not have anything plugged into it when it's time to come on automatically per the program you set, the outlets will not work...regardless if they are plugged in when it's time for the next turn on cycle, they will not turn on. Basically, all your plugs need to be in the outlets proir to the very first programmed on time for it ever work. It would be nice if the manual and videos said that
@Dani Stark dude I figured it out. Set your timer. Hold manual for a couple seconds and auto on or auto off will come on. If your timer should be off leave it on auto off not on. And when you want your lights it'll be auto on. I thought auto off would be like manual off. Idk it's fuckin dumb
@@aclement1000 there is no way to manually program the plugs individually. There's multiple different programs but they all affect the plugs the same. Hope that helps.
I had this same issue but once it times out of the program mode and shows the date and time, then I was able to switch between manual and auto per the instructions. Hope this helps
Feels like I've listened to instructions at least 100 times. Difficult to say the least. My husband is a Senior Developer & he had trouble as well. Will try again today & tonight.😢 Nothing should be this difficult. Frustrated.
I have mine on auto and set everything up correctly. I’m using this for a fogger and a UVB light for my lizard. The UVB light is set to turn on at 10am and off at 10PM, the fogger is set to turn on at 8am and off at 2pm. It was past 2 pm when I plugged it in but it still had the fogger running when I plugged it in?? When I toggle auto off it turns off both the light and the fogger. Not really sure what I’m doing wrong. If anyone has an answer please let me know!
Foggers should not be on set On 8am until 2pm I purchased (Inkbird) humidifier amd temperature control outlet that automatically turns off and on when required humidity is reached and will alarm you if set temperature is exceeding for your reptile need.
The 4 timed outlets turn on and off together. I’m not sure, but I believe if things are over lapping in the same day, it will probably cancel one of them out. The 8 programs would be for different times on different days. But still working with the 4 outlets. It will not control individual outlets on their own schedules. Aaaaand I just realized this comment is over 2 years old. lol. I’m sure you’ve figured this out by now… hopefully 🤞🏽 😂
I am holding down manual button and it is not turning to auto. I try contacting your customer service number and no one has answered. I really need this to work. Please get back to me. I have already reset and re-did it multiple times.
C'est de la grosse bullshit, j'ai jamais réussi à faire fonctionner le mode automatique. J'ai fini par abandonner et acheter un autre produit d'une autre compagnie.
This is amazing there's only one thing you didn't mention. The programmable 1 - 8 bind to which inputs ? is 1 the first one on the left? or the first one on the right? If the right side is always on then why is there 8 programmable settings? or are the 8 programmable settings global to all the left side? Can each outlet in the programmable side be programmed individually? For example I need one outlet to turn on one hour before the next one turns on.
Hello Dan, the 4 outlets on the timer side are controlled simultaneously not individually. All 4 outlets will turn ON/OFF at the same time, up to 8 different times.
@@Bnlink_Inc The fact that all the outlets are controlled simultaneously and not individually should me more clearly marked on the packaging. I feel misled having bought this product to control multiple reptile enclosures and plant lights and was really disappointed.
How do I select what program I'm using? I have 3 programs set and I can't figure out how to choose what program I'm using. Is that possible? Is that not how it works? Please help, thanks.
I looked through other comments. The display has to be on “clock” mode. The holding the manual button for five seconds worked. It took a couple of tries. 😅
The video: "Remember the outlet does not know about daylight savings time, it will not switch on its own" Me *rewatching this video every year on daylights savings time day because I always forget how this machine works*: Trust me, I know!
I can't seem to get this thing to work. If I put 1 time in program 1 on that is when it should start right? And program 1 off should be when it shuts off? If so it isn't working for me 😑
Hello, the 1ON program is when the timer should turn on and the 1OFF program indicates when the timer should turn off. Please give us a call at (909)592-1881 between Monday-Friday from 9 am till 5 pm PST we would be more than happy to walk you through the setup process.

I have mine set to turn on at 8am and off at 2am. It is currently 11pm so it should be on but it is not. I have all 8 programs set to the exact same thing just in case it was running one of the others. Help!!
Hello, if the timer is to turn ON and OFF at the same time every day there is no need to set all 8 programs. Just the 1ON and 1OFF. Confirm that your timer is set to AUTO and ON. Please feel free to give us a call at (909)592-1881 M-F 8am-5pm PST. We will be more than happy to assist you.
Why is only one program working with my timer? I programed a second on off time as a test and the second on and off program does not work. Ran a test to see if the initial program works correctly and thankfully it does, but if I need to set more on/off programs, then this timer surge protector would be useless to me.
Make sure that the display shows Auto Off. It does not mean that the auto is actually off, but that you are in auto mode, but the outlet is off. You have to be out of the range when you do this. For example if you program on at 9am off at 11am. The auto display should say off before 9 or after 11. When it hits 9, it will show auto on and at 11 auto off.
Can you program 15/30/45/60 minute intervals? I have a one program where I run 18 hours, however I want one program run every 15 mins and another run 2 hours on and off.
Hello, this timer only has the ability to program 8 ON/OFF programs. If you would like the timer to run every 15min we would recommend purchasing a short period repeat cycle timer. www.amazon.com/BN-LINK-Period-Repeat-Intermittent-Interval/dp/B0184CG9K0/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
You have to long press the manual button for 4 secs. This will switch it to Auto off. What they don't show or say in the video is that you must press the manual button again to get it to switch to Auto On. That is when your programs will kick in. It took me about 45mins to figure this part out.😂
Hello, this timer has a total of 8 ON/OFF programs with options for all seven days of the week. The timer will continue to repeat week after week until you turn off a specific program.
