filmed near what is now ozinga concretes the 4th track siding or whatever is still visible on google maps i work very close to here

around what year did you start seeing stack intermodle cars?

The double-stack cars started to show up in intermodal trains around 1985. The first solid double-stack train that I saw was either a UP APL train in Cajon Pass or the NYS&W SeaLand train seen in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lAu8g1IE9Oo.html which still had a caboose.
