Avalos was definitely not the answer for Boise State. McAlister leaving and wanting to come back after the fire and Gatlin Bair considering flipping is an embarrassing look for Avalos. I see all these people defending him saying he's a great guy. Which is fine. No one is wanting to attack his character. But good manners and nice smiles don't win you championships. You aren't paid 7 figures per year to do that. I'm not even a BSU fan and I've gotten backlash from their fanbase for saying he's not a great head coach. You're on the verge of having the first losing season in nearly 30 years, star players leaving the team mid season, and you're playing 2 QBs every other play on the same drive. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that it's a trainwreck there right now.

First let me say before he was hired I said he wasn’t qualified and wasn’t the man for the job during his tenure he showed he wasn’t the man for the job. And Saturday night after the game my wife asked me do you still they will fire him. My reply was they should fire tomorrow but that his time was done. You can like the man and understand HC is not a Job that he was capable of at anything close to a high level. He was a fan hire period

amazing how Matt Bauscher is given such respect and his words such weight (and deservedly so) but Vladdd calling out the program and local media for being myopic was ridiculed. Touche'
