Welcome viewers back to my G scale layout. This video will depict a loaded BNSF manifest train traveling over my Mountain Subdivision between Riverbank & Oakdale, CA. This is a fictional operation as BNSF does not travel into Oakdale to interchange with Sierra, but rather Sierra operates its daily “Riverbank Job” that shuttles cars between Riverbank & Oakdale for the interchange with BNSF in Riverbank. But every once in a while I like to run my big power over the line. This train is transporting live lumber loads, intermodal containers loaded with cotton seed and loaded grain hoppers that will all be transported to various facilities by Sierra Northern. After the interchange at Oakdale, we once again follow the train on its return journey. This return train transports empty grain hoppers and intermodal containers. Real rail car sounds have been added for a more realistic video. I also have added a full voice over narration that explains this journey as well as the various locations the train travels through.
