This is a short video that follows two BNSF manifest freights over the Mountain Subdivision on my G Scale layout. This is Sierra Northern Railway track, but on my layout BNSF has trackage rights to deliver cars to Sierra Northern for distribution. While this is not topically how BNSF delivers cars on the prototype, it is how cars are delivered on my layout.😁on my layout BNSF delivers cars to Sierra 2-3 times per week. Once cars are delivered to the Sierra Northern Oakdale yard, Sierra then transports the cars to various customers along their line. In this video we will follow a train up “Canyon Tank grade” , a real location on the prototype railroad and then around horseshoe curves like “Big 60”, not a real location on the prototype. On the return trip the train will cross over my curved wooden trestle that crosses Warnerville Creek. While this is not a real location on the prototype railroad, there is a “Warnerville Road” and a real location called “Warnerville.” On the return trip of the train, one of the locos was moved to be a mid train DPU for extra power to push my train over the summit of my Mountain Subdivision. I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of this realistic mountain railroad operation in G Scsle. Please be sure to like, comment, share & subscribe! Thanks for your continued support and for watching. 👍

Did you find somewhere that sells ACEs, or are they custom modded SD70MACs? I see you do a lot of custom work on this channel so I wasn't sure

I added 3d printed custom side flares to an SD70Mac. So far they only make ACE’s in 1 gauge which is a bit smaller than g scale.

@@SERA52Railfan yeah the OneGauge products always looked kinda funky to me, I wish they would make a larger selection of the proper 1:29 stuff. Your ACEs look fuckin sick though, amazing work 🔥

I actually ordered a one gauge Ace so I’ll have to see what it looks like with the g scale locos when it comes in 😁
