Chemistry. Can’t really describe it. But, my teenage heart knew that this was special. The Bo/Carly arc was beautifully written and superbly acted by Peter and Crystal…and I think this was Crystal’s first acting job!! But, it’s the chemistry and man, did they have it. My forever couple.
CC and PR made this storyline work so well. The chemistry was outstanding. I'm sorry to not see them around today on daytime but this time with them is something to cherish.
Came here after finding out John Aniston passed. Only Days storyline that ever hooked me was Carly and Bo. No gimmicks, amnesia, evil twin, back-from-the dead or levitating characters-just two incredibly talented and attractive actors at the top of their game with a well-written story arc about the unmitigated fear of someone scared to death to be vulnerable again after a devastating loss. Still powerful to watch all these years later.
Carly was very beautiful, though Hope was beautiful too, but she died an went to Melrose Place 😅, so y’all know Bo had to get another woman, you see how sad he was, you have to admit the show was still good, especially back then an the 80’s was the best of Days of Our Lives then what it is today

Crystal is far better and more beautiful than Kristian, days was loyal to the wrong people.....they let Carly go twice yet in the end hope said bye bye to the show
