I was so happy to see that Devante was out because now people can see what having Pat Surtain means. Instead of the argument being “oh yeah well Devante caught one” he was able to shadow the field and do his thing in. It came out great.

@YoungGoat-q3vhard to forget when every announcer brings it up every game. It’s a different season, with different players running different schemes. This defense is young, exceptional and play with a chip on their shoulder knowing that nobody took them seriously.

@YoungGoat-q3vThere's no such thing as a perfect defense, especially with current rule sets. They will have a few bad games. When they explained how they were running a blended system that was partially Vic's Defense and CJs that explained a lot. Once they dropped that the defense has improved almost at every level.

⁠You guys remember how we won 5 games in a row last year yet we finished 8-9. I’m still not sold on Vance, we have gone up against 4 terrible offenses, Sea, Steelers, Jets, and Raiders. Last year he took a defense that was top 5 the year before and made them the worst defense in the league, in fact they were historically bad. He deserved to be fired. So let’s hold off on crowning this defense and Vance. Vance has been terrible in 4 of his past 5 jobs, the BengalS DC, Broncos HC, Cardinals DC, and Broncos DC. Only place he was decent was his ONE YEAR, as Dolphins DC.

⁠@@jsilva7005Seattle (in Seattle) is a bad offense? News to the rest of the league. Tampa (in Tampa) is a bad offense? Jets may be unspectacular but they’re not a bad offense. Even the Raiders offense is OK. Solid OL just have injuries. Bo’s getting better each week and went thru a gauntlet of defenses to start the season. This is an offense without a first rounder since 2017.

@@cannon5kid They scored 20 points against the Giants, who have a bad defense. Seattle’s offense is average at best, and they scored 26 on us. The only GOOD game the Broncos defense has had against a good offense is Tampa Bay. That’s not my opinion, that’s a fact, and the stats prove it.

That defense is legit. They don't need to blitz to get pressure either. I believe every sack against the Raiders was just with their front 4. They get it done in all kinds of ways.

Getting tremendous pressure on the QB by rushing only 4 guys is the key to a strong defense. In today's game (and since 2005) the refs call way too many illegal contact and defensive holding calls to effectively blitz on a constant basis.

It's only week 5 in a long season to go. So far they haven't faced a top tier offense and time will tell. However, as a avid Bronco's fan who suffers along with them I am getting excited to see our defense go out there and ruin other team's dreams, especially Rogers and the Jets. But Bo Nix doesn't do dumb things dudes, WTF? He's been more lucky than not. But he is only a rookie with just 5 games under his belt. The upside potential there does look pretty promising and thanks for making RaiderNation cry in their soup this morning.

The Bucs? Besides Denver they’ve been averaging 30ppg. While I agree they haven’t faced super tough offensives the defense has dominated the mid ones so far as long as the offense keeps getting more rhythm this team seems legit to me

Geno Smith is averaging close to 300 a game when he got 170 against this secondary. DK has close to 400 yards in 4 games since 29 week 1. They’re a good offense

Brought what exactly! Full strength broncos offence vs decimated raiders defence! The score doesn't show what really happened on the field. Broncos' defence can only get them so far. Chargers will show what the broncs really are as mediocre at best.

Denver broncos could make it to the AFC championship this year they probably won't but what I'm seeing is if they did these idiots would still be talking bad about this team because they've sucked for so long people just expect them to suck so when you suck for that long that's what people do and then they plaster on the back of your helmet spread love and things like that on the back of these players helmets and then the media comes in and spreads hate all over the football field.
