I am fairly new to skiing but I want the RC4 PRO MV BOA just because they look amazing in terms of being the very best. But lots of people say they will be too stiff for me until im much more experienced. What are your thoughts please?
I'm newer to skiing (last 5 yrs), now with a U16 racing daughter and a 40-something ex-race partner who is getting back into gates training & racing, who just bought a 158 Women's Fischer FIS RC4 SL ski, I can tell you that I've been looking at the Zipfits and I think this is going to be an absolute homerun for you. I ski north of Toronto, in icy northeast conditions, where most people daily carving skis - I will be recommending that new Zipfit boot to everyone. Please tell me there will be one available for racing ladies with a short cuff.
Always had trouble with boots. I have wide feet and high instep. Wondered if the boa system would reduce some of the pressure that pushes down onto the balls if my feet. But they only make them in the medium volumes. Would I be better to go with boa with MV volume or normal buckles in HV?
I have the same problem with feets: wide (105mm) and high instep. I've tired on the RC4 130 MV with BOA (size 26.5). They fit perfect, like they were made for my foots. Perhaps the new RC4 MV has increased internal volume with improved liners.
