Enjoyable series. Appreciate the approach you took with summing up the experience. You effectively showed that hunting is a journey and not a kill event. Nice job.

Jon, once again your team has masterfully documented your amazing journey. It’s awesome how Mother Nature keeps us humble as hunters. She is making sure you appreciate her bounty! I am looking forward to your next hunt! Thank you for sharing your hunting experience and showing us your more personal side. You are clearly giving Howard a run for his money with your own story telling.

Jon, I loved this little insight into your adventure. A great compliment to all your other videos. I’m relatively new to the game hunting world but finishing off my second season it’s amazing to find such a welcoming community out there with like minded individuals and then to find channels like yours is an absolute blessing. Awesome production too. Keep up the great work.

You've hit the nail on the head on so many points. There's not much else that needs to be said. Thanks to everyone for this series.

As you get older you will understand most men go hunting to get away from their wives, not to actually hunt.

hats off to sasha for this film, the way you conveyed the thrill in the chase and the tension in the hide was incredible and perfectly encapsulated what jon was talking about. All round fantastic cinematography and what a great trip (i especially enjoyed the gun shop tour). Look foward to the next time!

Amazing series Jon, I enjoyed all 3 episodes, it looked like a great place to spend time & chill out. I loved the section in the gun shop, it was good to see how their attitudes to the whole thing are so different from ours, the keys in the gun cabinets was so strange to see. I always like to look on hunting & fishing with the same thoughts, if it was easy & you could 100% guarantee a kill or catch everytime it would very quickly lose its appeal. Keep up the with the videos, great work as always.

What a fantastic series, not enough superlatives to describe it. A beautiful part of the world. Great characters. Jon clearly had a great trip, despite not getting his boar. However, what really made it was the stunning production quality of the video, Sasha has upped the ante by orders of magnitude. I could watch this level of production all day! Were it not for the controversial nature of the content (from a general public perspective) this is worthy of main stream media. More of the same please :D

My dad goes up north here in Canada on a two week moose hunt. He says he if he gets one it's a bonus on a great holiday. Really helps to enjoy your time and not have it spoiled by something you have no control over. :)

The small pump action looked fun, like the mini pump in episode of Luther on Tuesday. Good trip and video 👍🏽

Hi, I follow you from Italy and actually i'am quite interested about the difference between hunting philosophy in England, Uk possibly, and Italy and the philosophy about weapons too. Regards

Hi The Gun Shop (John)... Firstly you make great content. Super cool series! Secondly, I was wondering if you could do a review of the Sako 85 Bavarian Carbine? I haven't been able to find anything about this rifle really, and I would love to know the pros and cons about having a rifle with only 20" barrel and what that might mean, if want an all-round rifle (and caliber) capable of taking down anything from row deer to moose, and what caliber would be good? I'm from Denmark, so mostly it will be row and red deer, but I would love to be able to go to Sweden to take some moose or wild boar (if there are to be found) and Scotland to get some red deer. Therefore I would love to rifle to be able to do it all! Thank you in advance Cheers

I would love to do a review on the Bavarian Carbine - I have asked sako if they want to lend me one, as it isn’t a stock gun here. There are plenty of 20” barrels capable of 1000m accuracy. The only thing is if you want to home load, you may be restricted. One calibre for everything is a hard one when the target species varies in size so much. In reality it has to be a 30 cal head or similar just for variety of options. Perhaps .308, .30-06, 8x57jrs or even 300winmag (if you really hate roe!)

@@tgsoutdoors Thank you very much for your answer. I will be looking forward to a possible review of the carbine. In terms of the restrictions in home loading, would you be able to expand on that? Cheers!

How often does an English gun shop stack them in single 25’s? Generally shown in 250’s and sold as such

Judging by you username you are Canadian. In Canada we can get shotguns with barrels down to 10.5" (smallest one I have seen for sale). I have a 14" 12ga. 870 clone which is perfectly legal.

@@ryanhobbs3362 yea i know the jw2000 at canadian tire has a 13 inch but you cant cut a barrel down from one thats longer as far as i know with a non restricted.and theres an over all length for non restricted

We also can have shot gun pistols and stuff with a rpal but i thought our standard barrel min is 18 thanks for informing me
