this is what happens when a Hindi teacher checks an English paper as he was not understanding English but wanted to deduct marks so he was just finding the ways to deduct marks also he wanted children to waste the pages. he should change his style of checking exam copy and others like him too as children do lot of hard work to score marks and teachers like him deduct marks only if a student has not leave the remaining page after completing the answer.But thanks for the knowledge..

I can agree on structural presentation of answers but can’t agree on the last point where the marks were deducted just because the student did a mistake and rewrote the answer again. A circular needs to be issued to prevent marks deduction on that matter. If neatness needs to be introduced to students then a definite number has to be allocated for overall presentation and neatness like 5 marks or so. In that case most ugliest looking answers sheet will get a penalty of maximum 5 marks, not more than that. Otherwise if a student rewrites all the answers and if numbers are deducted on every answer on this logic , then imagine what will be the marks even after all the answers are right. Marks has to be given on the basis of education policy of the state or union, not according to the preferences of an individual or else there will be no uniformity in deciding merits of students.

If we think we are wrong in the answer so can't we rewrite the question so what is the way to correct it what do you think guyss. I agree with the point that we have to present our answer sheets with cleanliness but if our education is just revolving around to make a examiner happy so i think we have to chnge the system (Maine yaha bohot saare comments dekhe h aur lambe comments bhi padhe h and i think some comments are really good).

The thing I hate about boards is this only why we students have to make the examiner happy yar. Ham ans likh rhe h na ache se present kiya to Kya marks nhi milne chahiye. See to it that students that every examiner in board has different opinions on appearance , presentation,content,etc. you just have to write in neat and understandable language. The second point is that never use two different ink pens as he didn't mention that or that will be allowed in other boards (but not in Maharashtra)

No bro it's not about strict checking Bullshit Indian education system is all about presentation, even if you don't know the answer just write neatly to impress the examiner and light up his/her mood because they are in a very bad mood after a fight with their spouse. Sir, the letter which you are saying is written in the right way actually had a wrong format and where you are saying to leave the whole page after answer for that there is a clear instruction given on the backside of front pade which says to draw line after every question and not waste space/pages. The letter format also can't be written in just one page because the format is long and also because it has to be written in three paragraphs.

Sir in cbse marking scheme it's clearly written that evaluator can't cut unnecessary marks in name of presentation. Presentation is done to just have a good impression on evaluator. I don't think you are evaluator of cbse. I think you are from any state board.

Sir, In letter it is preferrable to divide the body in atleast 2-3 paragraphs which obviously cannot fit in a single page, keeping in mind the amount of space the above format takes. The letter is bound to exceed one page and be written on the other. Besides, In the two asnwer scripts you compared, the one whose letter is written in a single sheet scored 7½ while the other scored 9 marks (there might be other mistakes also, I am not precisely saying that because he wrote it in single sheet that's why he scored comparatively less marks) My aim is not to prove your points wrong, you have hand-on experience in examining answers scripts while I am just an ordinary student. I seek for acknowledgement towards my words. Thankyou.

sir with due respect i want to say on the behalf of the students that no doubt presentation matters but at the same time the examiner should not expect that they will get a answer sheet with all answer written in clear format , they should do some hardwork on their own too , for a student papers are not pre-decided so examiner shouldn't be there with such desires which you too seems to have ..... students are giving exam not practical file try to understand ,students are not giving exam to showcase thier handwriting its knowledge that matters more. so pls try to inculcate some changes among examiner .

One more thing, recently in OMR instructions there was said that you shouldn't waste page something, Instead of leaving the spaces, We can just draw the line using pencil and that's gonna make the paper look neat and save some pages,

I also agree with you because if we leave a page for only one or two lines of answer the whole page is waste and there is no any use of that page also it cause deforestation definitely because only one child not give board exams there are many children gives board exams if they waste the pages like this then everyone know it cause deforestation

Writing section toh samajh ata hai ki new page se start karna chahiye but baaki questions to 2-2 line ke gap me ya one liner answer hai toh ek line ke gap hi likh skte h na !! Edit : ek thaali me sari chije aa jaye sajakar toh acha bhi lagega lekin agar ek badi si thaali bs roti rkh de aur har chij ke liye nayi thaali to acha thodi lagega..
