We have a weekly game night so I've been loving all your recommendations and write them down! My husband and I play games all the time together and we get so into it! Such a nice thing to get away from electronics sometime :)

Neat video. Game store was incredible. Surprised you two remained there for just an hour. So much variety there. Most places are saturated with MtG and Warhammer. Good game purchases. Your collection is nice and compact. I am glad the both of you are proud to display your hobby. Very nicely done in your home. I was a bit surprised that you put the shelf together. But then again, you are the organizer and visionary. Fun video. Thanks for providing a glimpse of your love for board games.

I absolutely love boardgames! I got Everdale for Christmas last year and it's one of my favourite. Ever since my ex moved out though, I have been on the hunt for a new person to play them with. I love the way the bookcase turned out! my biggest struggle is to figure out how to organize the board games and this is such a great idea!

7 Wonder Duel is really fun. It's a two person 7 Wonders and is relatively quick, 20 to 40 minutes. There's an expansion for it, too, called Pantheon. Theres also a similar game called Imhotep that has a two player version, too.

I like the idea of organizing board games by color. If you’re not completely sold on grouping like colors together like you’ve done in this video, you might consider mixing the colors of adjacent game boxes for contrast. Depending on how varied your boxes’ colors are, you could try displaying them in complementary pairs (e.g., red, green, blue, orangish, purplish, yellowish) or maybe just alternate colors (e.g., red, green, blue, white, red, blue, etc.).

I suggest Feast for Odin, Five Tribes, Trajan, Orleans, Dice Town, Merchants and Marauders and Whistle Mountain. These are the Power Hitters in my Board Game collection. Oh and the best playing, two player chilled card game ever called Mandala (if you can find it).

You should swap out the billy bookcases with the walmart ones that you used to store decor on! the boardgames would look so nice stacked on those!

You guys have amazing taste! I've played many of these games and I love them. I also own some of them such as Catan, Splendor, King of Tokyo, and many others. I play with a group of friends so we usually don't get the same games to have more of a variety.
