Board James: Weapons and Warriors (Higher Quality) 

I think this is one of James' best videos. The acting is hilarious, the narrative works, the music is timed brilliantly and suits the mood. James' face when Mike tells him to go and fetch his balls gets me every time. Also, good job from Mike. His facial expressions are priceless the whole way through.

You're doing it wrong! You never go through the trouble of busting open the draw bridge to fire through and hit the general in the castle keep... You can just use the catapult to arc a ball over the castle wall and land RIGHT in the keep doorway killing the castle side general. I got really good at this as a kid. You simply dial it in after a few shots and BAM. Castle advantage? I think not. The trick is not drawing the catapult all the way back... You can adjust the draw length with a little plastic switch on the catapult. (Yeah, this game was fucking sophisticated!) Also, according to the rules the CASTLE side is supposed to use the crossbow. Attackers get the cannon. Both sides get one catapult.

My Brother has 2 sets of this game, its so much fun, especially when you play with 2 Castles :)

This looks fun, I didnt know something like this existed. When I was around 10 my friends and I would build our own sand castles, place little plastic soldiers around them and shoot each others castles with bb guns or matchstick torpedoes

Had this game as a kid. Great times! Eventually some of the soldiers, one of the catapults and the ballista broke and by then it sadly went into the trash.

When this game and all the expansions came to stores when I was 8-9 years old I seriously considered adding this epic stuff to my wish list for Christmas. Of course I changed my mind and instead wished for a medieval castle set (which was awesome). Now after watching this video I think I want to get hold of this game and play it with my brother's kids.

Get 2 of these and have 2 castles go at it!

Dude! I had forgotten about this! I wanted this game soooooo bad as a kid. Looks like it's just as cool as I thought it'd be back then. I ended up getting Forbidden Bridge that Christmas. I wasn't that upset because that kicked ass too.

I never technically "played and finished" this game, but I definitely played with the pieces of this game... I think, with all confidence, that this board game added to the paint ball, and the air soft popularity that exists today!!!

I never played Weapons and Warriors. It looks like a lot of fun. It's almost like an arcade game you can play in your own home.

This episode and this board game is awesome. I want that board game someday and play it in one room where is only 1 door and 4 walls.

i used to have a game like this. it was called "crossbows & catapults". the main difference is that both sides get to build their own castle.

Revenge of frenemies: James encounters old enemies from past games hes' reviewed such as bugs bunny, the joker, leatherface, and/or ROB, michael myers. James decides to take a drive down memory lane, but little does he know that for every loss he suffers in the game, it opens a portal to the main character of the game. SMDC and possibly Spiderman would have his back.

This game was called "Siege" where I'm from (Canada). We used to say to hell with the dice most the time and just have a good old fashoned shootout (And if I got really pissed Id grab the Nerf Arrowstorm and wreck havoc). Ah good times.

Anyone remember Crossbows and Catapults? I found the pucks for that game around my house for years after we'd long lost the rest of the parts.

I went on Amazon and the game is $60!! Holy crap, this makes me wish I saved all of my board games. Remember 13 Dead End Drive? That game took a while to set up as well. You should do a game review on that one next.

I have the pirate version of this game called Siege: Pirate's Battle Game. It does take a long time to set up, but it's still great fun. Both sides have a cannon and a mortar in that version.

I still have my game of W&W. I think I have a slightly newer version though. Mine has two castles instead of just one, and I don't think you move your troops. It's basically just a one on one shooting gallery. It has been a while since I played though, and I still find balls hidden away in various places.

This shit reminds me of when I once got a big cheapass mega-bloks castle set with dragons and me and my older brother made up our own boardgame rules for piece movement, He controlled the dragon and orcs, I eventually won by catapulting a cow at the dragon, crushing the remaining orcs.
