Hello Happy Travelers!
Welcome onboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas! We are on a seven night Mexican Riviera sailing leaving from Los Angeles, California visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta Mexico! Navigator has received Royal Amplification, which means it underwent refurbishments to include exciting new features, such as Battle for Planet Z laser tag, Lime & Coconut bar and Caribbean Pool Deck, Riptide and Blaster waterslides, Jamie’s Italian, Playmakers, and more!
It’s boarding day! While we have sailed on Navigator previously, this is still an exciting and new day because this is our first time ever boarding a ship from the West Coast! That means it is a whole new boarding process that we go over in detail from the San Pedro Port! Once onboard, we are quickly reminded how much we love Navigator and have fun reintroducing ourselves to the ship! We take care of some typical first day housekeeping, such as showing the entire E-Muster process and settling into our room! Then we go to the helipad for our first ever Pacific Ocean/West Coast Sailaway (and it was a beauty)! We wrap up the day with a casual Windjammer dinner, and of course, checking out the ship’s night aesthetic! (Trademark Hoffman Happy Travels) 😜!

I just recently found your channel I watch a lot to learn about a trip I am going on or would like to go on. When you show a ship you really take the time and show everything. Really brake it down so people can decide for them selves what a ship has to offer. Keep up the excellent work!! Oh yes I subscribed!

Hi Hoffmans! I love the sun setting as you were sailing out of the port, so pretty and relaxing. It’s interesting to see such an industrial port (I’ve only ever sailed out of Miami), but it makes sense, as there is so much trade between Asia and the US. Great video, as always!!

It’s so funny for me seeing your experience as first-timers at that cruise port since the two in LA are the only ones I’ve ever been to! Long Beach for a Carnival cruise, and World Cruise Port for a Princess cruise and later to see the Giant Rubber Ducky! I recommend checking out the battleship Iowa when you get back if you get the chance! Super cool!

We bought the 3 night dining package on our Odyssey cruise and we can’t reserve a time. If you buy them separately you can reserve a time now from the app. Why is that? Makes us worried we won’t get a spot. Great video as always, we loved Navigator!

Hi CashMopar! So when you get a package Royal will make a courtesy reservation at a restaurant for night one or night two and then you can make the remainder of the reservations once onboard. If you do not like the restaurant or time chosen for the courtesy reservation you can definitely change it. We have never had any problems booking once onboard and they definitely take in account keeping availability open for people who purchased packages. Let us know if you have any more questions! 🤗❤️🛳

Sooooo... They rent the pool deck casitas on Navigator as well now. They were FCFS in 2019. Got one on the 1st day then b/c we were the 1st ones on b/c we paid for the Key. Offered very little shade (time of day/time of year) and the USB charging was so slow, was not useful. Would not pay to rent a pool deck casita. They do look nice though.

Do you have to buy admission to thrill Island at coco cay to ride helium ride or zip line? I bought tickets for helium ride and zip line but not admission. Now i don't know if we can get in
