You're still at the top of my list of Sound Banks for the Deluge............Unfortunately, my Deluge is not working, finally being sent from a repair shop in Canada, back to N.Zealand.........hopefully it will be in good health soon, and I'll pop back and buy this patch bank then! so beautiful, character laden and expressive. I found I only require a few quick tweaks (to remove a little of the pitch modulation) to get the sounds shaped into something I'm instantly excited by......................hours of inspiration here.............masterful programming, once again. Bravo!

Are there new filters in the firmware? Top end sounds seriously improved for Delly synth patches.

I've used all of them. New LFOs, new LP and HP filters, morphing between filters, unison spread feature and the last one, which I can't even name to be honest :D

my biggest problem with the boards of deluge patches, is that you only need one volume for years of music making, but having one makes you want all of them 🤬

That and the Deluge having a minor stroke every time I try to scroll presets because there's too many great patches! There are worse problems to have.

@@tom.mlol! Quick tip for those who don't know, instead of just scrolling presets with the knob only, hold Load then press synth. Its a much faster way to scroll presets.

I work in a very intuitive way, there is no strategy od path. I simply sit and experiment with it...So it would be hard to create any tutorial :/ I'm more some kind of an artist than professional sound designer.

Hey Chris. Do you make patches for anything else, or can these be used with other devices? I bought all of your other BoD packs, but I recently sold my Deluge. I have an OP-1 Field, a Polyend Play +, and a Dirtywave M8. Any chance this and your other packs will work with one of those? Thanks for all of your hard work in making awesome patches!

Not Chris here. These presets are not simply going to work on anything other than an up to date Deluge. Sadly, presets are very dependent on the hardware and sometimes even firmware version, with the very rare exception where a device or soft-synth has been built to mimic it precisely. There is the hope someone recreates them on hardware you have.

@@Synth-PatchesCom Thanks Chris. I sold the Deluge OLED which almost entirely funded the purchase of the Play + and the soon-to-be-released M8 Model:02. I underestimated my need for a real screen. These three should keep me busy for years to come, but it would have been nice to have your patches on one or all of them too. I’ll check out your Mininova sound pack. Thanks for the reply.

I'm curious to know if you've encountered any problems with the Comm. Firmware. I had some serious issues, notes kept cutting off, etc. (happened repeatedly in the middle of a live performance) so I went back to an earlier firmware version for a while.

I use the 1.0 official community firmware and yes, there are some bugs. I hope the forthcomming 1.1 version will fix that.

the new model is called mutable.

No, I use the official community firmware (not the nightly). And in the 80% cases there is no reverb used at all.
