After a few weeks of deep dive into the incredibly complex (but powerful) workflow of the @SynthstromAudible #Deluge, I finally finished my first track using the Deluge only!
Most of the synth sounds are from @Synth-PatchesCom amazing "Boards of Deluge" Presets 1 & 2, but I also created a few myself and used a lot of different samples, including sampling the Digitone.
Fun fact: this was actually a song I had originally written on the Digitone + Digitakt combo, but was never finished because I wasn't happy with the structure. When I got the Deluge I decided to try and recreate it from scratch as a way to learn about all the different features, and that worked out pretty well.
Arranger view in particular was the big game changer, as it allowed me to try different structures in a way that just wasn't possible with the Elektron combo. And the possibility of switching between a fixed structure in the Arranger view and improvising in Song view is just the icing on the top of the cake!
