This is the trailer for the NEW documentary about Wildwood, NJ, it will be ready for release by the this summer, 2013. we will be taking pre-orders as soon as production is finished.
I miss Castle Dracula and Hunt's Pier. But, the Ghost Ship on Mariner's Landing and the mirror maze on the former Hunt's Pier/Dino Beach are pretty good. The Golden Nugget is now a coal mine ride at Knoebel's in PA.
I always remembered that summer of 2012 and I would see the camera guys all over the boardwalk all the time. We used to come down the shore to Wildwood EVERY weekend during the summers! Can I still get a copy of this documentary?
Love Bob, just found him on Facebook! He is a great man. Hope he accepts my friend request! I had the honor of meeting him briefly twice. -Stephen Cappa Robert Regan
I remember watching this trailer when it first came out. can't believe it's already been 5 years. thank you for your work on this! maybe it can be made into a trilogy :)
Hope ai'm not giving away my age but can remember only paying a quarter to ride the tram car, 25 cents for a slice of Macks Pizza & 4 or 5 hot dogs from Nates for a dollar during weekday lunch special. Hunts Pier had the best rides back then. Can remember the old bowling alley on Gleenwood Avenue right off the boardwalk where they had teenagers setting the pins.
When we were kids you could always hear & smell the ocean. Water used to come past the boardwalk ectra high tide at 20th street. Now you almost need a telescope to see the too far away ocean. Asame ahole drunk kids, way too many condos, & rip.off 14.5 % room tax ruining the Wildwoods. Was cheaper to book a room at Disney.
