I like how the piano tuning continues when the agent shows up and when they go to the kitchen. It’s a neat, subtle way of building suspense and tension.

his jokes make me always laugh, the best ones are those when Nucky turns and looks at him like 'wtf, get back to work' or when no one else is laughing.
It wasn't originally part of his character, the actor actually improvised it after reading the script. He thought Mickey Doyle was the type to have that kind of laugh.
A dried-out turd is a better depiction if you ask me. If Chalky has his way after overhearing him using a derogatory slang with the detective , he'd have thumb choked schmutzy Mickey's last giggly breath like he once did with a racist prisoner Nucky witnessed.
@@Bennahr_Fett I know, but the Mickey Doyle of the show is still just an very loosely reality-based fictional character. Like Jimmy Darmody, for example. For what it's worth, Mickey Duffy was known for beating people almost to death with his hands. There's not much of a resemblance bar the name and the area.
