I’ve had this boat latch since I first bought this boat in 2020.
Prior to this I had a Quintrex 481 Top Ender and was so used to launching and retrieving with a walk on trailer and rope, when I purchased the Haines Signature 543SF I told Derek from Good Times Marine I didn’t want the boat latch out of fear of driving the boat on or off the trailer. I’d never done it before.
He encouraged me to use the boat latch and honestly it is the absolute best thing I could have done to simplify and control my boat when launching and retrieving at the boat ramp. Since
I fish solo this is a must have for control and efficiency.
