Barely made it against the tide in this 1950 Mevagissey Tosher. She’s been afloat for 18 months as the best place for her so the planks don’t shrink. She had a lot of growth underneath as a result so a quick pressure wash and prop clean with a coat of trilux on the prop. She’s good to go herring fishing for the next couple of months. She will then come out and be overhauled. Her gaff rig is currently undergoing restoration. Soon she will be in ship shape and back sailing in all her glory. She belongs to my brother but I’ll be helping with the project so expect some more posts of Jade. Is there room for another boat project on youtube?
